1) The live oak leaves are covering my driveway like snow. Why do these trees shed in spring and not in the fall like all normal trees?
2) Chip has a runny nose. Seriously, it is guaranteed.
3) The smell of mountain laurels is overwhelming! It smells like a giant vat of grape Kool-aid in my backyard and I could not be happier about it! It is such a short blooming season, but it is glorious!
Also, my herbs that have been buried under leaves are coming back to life! Happy, happy, joy, joy!
You know what doesn't bring me joy and happiness? What TWDITW did to the mat in the back of my Suburban. You know the one I spent an hour on Saturday anchoring in so he couldn't pull it up? Yeah, same one. It took him approximately 12 minutes to dismantle and destroy on our way to the dog park. It was day two of Prozac and it made zero difference to him. I could hear him pawing and digging and grunting and plastic ripping and zip ties popping. I was so aggravated. It is not salvageable, so I threw it away. I ordered a thick cheap rubber mat that I hope tastes like old rubber tires that maybe he won't chew up. I will keep you posted.
Finally, have we already covered the recent issue I have where I start thinking about putting my pajamas on every night about 6:30? What is that? I have to convince myself to at least wait until 8:00 pm before I drag out my big blue fleece robe and slippers. I love them so much and I want to wear them all day and all night. They are old and comfy and delicious. It is 7:18 pm right now. I am not going to make it until 8:00!
Hope your week is going great and spring is putting on a show for you, too!
