Loose Daily Plans

Whew, the first full work week after the holidays is a doozy! But we made it to Friday! I have been writing a "Loose Daily Plan" list everyday with just some things I would like to do for the day. You know I love a list. Nothing too complicated or challenging, but it is helping me. Something about writing things down that just makes me want to do them so I can mark them off the list.

One day this week, I put "Get some SUN on your face" on my list. See, not hard. Just trying to be mindful and do some good things for myself through the day.  So mid afternoon I went out in the back yard and put my face towards the sun and my bare feet in the grass. I just stood there soaking up the warmth of the sun and it felt so good. I was out there ten or fifteen minutes. It was a small act of self care but it was awesome.

I have other things on my list like:

- Read my Bible
- Green Juice
- Suck at work
- Walk Coop
- Light Weights
- Return shoes to UPS
- Pick up Pills
- Order groceries
- Find empty bins in garage for bathroom storage

Being intentional in the morning and jotting down a few things really helps me remember what I would like to get done in a 24 hour period. Or, remind me to Suck at Work - which means work your hours, but then walk away! Reasonable dedication to work. Honestly, I kind of suck at getting my list done too. I don't really give a rip if I do them all or not. I just move it to the next day if I don't get it done. It is a "Loose" plan. No one is trying to be perfect over here.

My "Loose Daily Plan" for Saturday looks like this:

- Read my Bible
- Peloton
- Green Juice
- Pick up groceries
- Help Judy with HOA Account
- Clean out Master Bathroom cabinets
- Make a fabulous pot of soup
- Make homemade bread
- Do some travel planning of what to see in North and South Dakota

I will probably do most of these - but if not, I will move it to Sunday!  No pressure here!

Hope you have a great weekend ahead and get a few things marked off your list!
