Counting Plants...Again

I got another early start this morning...waking up at 5:15 to get my morning routine going. Those early mornings mean I am fading fast tonight. Better write quick!

This morning, I got up and had some coffee, read my Bible, walked with Martha, made a green juice, and ate breakfast. For breakfast I had a bowl of oatmeal with a ton of toppings. I love the toppings. My bowl this morning had flax seed, chia seeds, hemp hearts, raisins, toasted walnuts, coconut and pumpkin seeds. Is there even any oatmeal under there?

Which brings me to the wrap up of my first week of plant counting in a while. I got in 43 different plants this week. Not bad.

New plant list starts tomorrow! Let's go!

In other not very exciting news, Chip had an early dentist appointment today to get a temporary crown put on his root canal tooth. The kid never even had a cavity and jumped straight to terrible infection in one of his molars that required an emergency root canal before Christmas.  Thankfully that little dental adventure is just about behind him.

I then insisted he take care of his car inspection...he was very late in getting that taken care, but now it is done. You are welcome for the relentless reminders, Chip.

I worked quite a bit today but tried to make sure I still sucked and wrapped up by about 4:30. I feel like I am shaking off the holiday blues and remembering how a regular work day feels. Tough to get back in the groove.

I wrapped up the day doing all the regular things.  Dinner, dishes, took Coop and Judy on a walk. Now I am trying to make it to 9:00 before I head to bed!

Tomorrow, I plan to jazz things up a bit around here and show you some pictures of my new baby. He is not really my baby. He is actually my niece Megan's baby. That makes him my GREAT nephew and I am his YaYa. His name is Elvar, but I call him Elvi and he is actually GREAT. I am obsessed with him. I held him so much at Christmas that my arms were sore. I know that is really just an indication of how out of shape my arms are that a 12 pound bundle of joy could wear me out! I need to add arm training to one of my lists!

HOORAY!  I just noticed the time...is is 9:20 p.m. - I can go to bed!  Good night!
